Quarter of a Million visitors attended Christmas at the Castle

The Lord Mayor of Dublin Paul McAuliffe and the Minister for the Office of Public Works (OPW) and Flood Relief, Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran, were delighted with the tremendous success of the Christmas at the Castle experience which was visited by over 275,000 visitors during the 10 days. This Winter Wonderland experience was presented by the OPW in partnership with Dublin City Council and ran from the 12th to the 22nd of December in the historic surroundings of Dublin Castle.
Minister ‘Boxer Moran said:
"This was a gorgeous experience for everyone, young and old, and was a fabulous event to get people into the Christmas spirit. I would like to convey my sincerest thanks to all the organisers, staff, vendors and special guests who assisted in making this a unique visitor experience."
