Vacancy - Curator at the National Botanic Gardens

The OPW currently has a vacancy for a Curator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management and development of the horticultural collection of the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin, Kilmacurragh and the John F. Kennedy Arboretum in New Ross as well as managing and leading the teams in all sites

Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 8 (minimum 2nd class honours), or higher, on the NFQ in an appropriate subject, e.g., Horticulture, Botany or a related discipline and will have experience in the supervision or management of a plant collection, botanic gardens or arboretum as well as administrative experience in the running of a significant maintenance and works organisation.
