The Big Brick Experience comes to Farmleigh 29th June – 1st September

28 June 19

The Office of Public Works are delighted to present the return of The Big Brick Experience for the third year running, this time at the fabulous Farmleigh House in Dublin. The Exhibition showcases the best of Construction toys, 3D Puzzles and Football Stadium replicas.

Fans of the Big Brick Experience will be excited to see the new sets added to the collection for this year, such as the Fire Station to the LEGO Winter Village series, and the latest Modular Building, the Corner Garage. The LEGO Modular Buildings are some of the most detailed LEGO Sets with loads of playability and also the best value for money.

James Bond fans will be excited to see 007’s famous Aston Martin DB5, and it’s worthy of any mission in LEGO form with its bulletproof rear window, machine guns, tyre scythes and an ejector seat for any pesky Villains on board. The phenomenal Bugatti Chiron hypercar has been added to The Big Brick collection, and it’s a 1:8 scale model with a working W16 engine and gearbox.

The Big Brick Experience will take visitors to the Wizarding World of JK Rowling with the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the magical Hogwarts Express, Quidditch Pitch and the infamous Whomping Willow.

Visitors will be excited to see their favourite landmarks from around the World, with the Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera House and Eiffel Tower returning, and some exciting new additions such as the Arc De Triomphe and majestic Great Wall of China. Famous cities of the World such as Shanghai, Las Vegas, Paris and San Francisco have been recreated in the LEGO Architecture series.

Michael Finan, the man behind the Big Brick is particularly excited about two new sets for the 2019 Big Brick Experience. Both from the LEGO Ideas franchise, the Ship in the Bottle is a classic example of maritime art recreated in LEGO. Michael anticipates that the Pop-up story book will be a real hit with the kids and adults alike. The Pop-up story book is based on two iconic Fairytales of Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood, and the Book would be right at home on a Bookshelf or Library.

Football fans will be excited to see Nanostad Stadium replicas. These models replicate some of the most famous football stadia from the most successful clubs worldwide. Fans can see Anfield, Old Trafford, Parc Des Princes, Allianz Arena, Juventus Arena and the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

The OPW Team at Famleigh House will partner with Michael to offer an exciting, interactive visitor experience for children of all ages and adults alike.

The Big Brick Experience will be on display until the 1st September 2019 at the Cow Shed Gallery, Farmleigh House & Estate, Phoenix Park, Dublin.
