The National Procurement Service awards contracts that cover a wide range of printed items. These include printed stationery, books, security documents and high security ID cards.
Items catered for within draw-down contracts allow for direct ordering, delivery and payment by each department to the supplier contracted for each category of print.
Printing of items not within the scope of draw-down contracts are requested through the Procurement Section of the National Procurement Service directly.
Departments utilising NPS contracts avoid the inconvenience and expense of involving themselves in onerous tendering procedures.
All NPS contracts are compliant with EU and national procurement directives.
The National Procurement Service (N.P.S.) intend to establish a panel of prequalified economic operators for supply of Printed Matter in the forthcoming 12 months (2010) for print contracts below €50,000.
The N.P.S. Invites applications from Contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on the Unit's panel/list, from which tenders may be invited for the supply of Printing, Binding and Ancillary operations.
Completed application forms must be returned to: Ms. Íde de Burca, N.P.S., Office of Public Works, 17-19 Lr. Hatch Street, Dublin 2, ide.deburca@opw.ie.
