APPOINTMENT OF NEW COMMISSIONER AT THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC WORKS



Mr. John McMahon has been appointed, by the Minister of Finance, as a Commissioner in the Office of Public Works.  Appointed with immediate effect, Mr. McMahon has succeeded the late Commissioner David Byers.
 
Mr. McMahon, from Clontarf in Dublin, first joined the Office of Public Works in 1974 and has served in various Divisions within the OPW. He will now have responsibility for Project Management Services throughout the OPW’s full range of projects.
