Works to Parkgate Street entrance to the Phoenix Park

Thursday 25th February 2010

PRESS RELEASE

Works to replace the pillar at the Parkgate Street entrance to the Phoenix Park will commence on Saturday 6th March and are scheduled to finish after Thursday 11th March.

The works will unfortunately disrupt traffic through this gate for the period of the works.

Traffic out of Dublin towards Castleknock will be directed via a contraflow through the right hand entrance to the Park .

Traffic from the direction of Castleknock towards the city will be diverted at the Gough Roundabout towards either the North Circular Road Gate and onto Infirmary Road or the Islandbridge Gate and onto the Conyngham Road.  The Odd Lamp Road will be opened for traffic from the Phoenix Monument to the Back Road.

The Office of Public Works regrets any inconvenience caused to the public.
