This involves facilitating the public in contacting and also in dealing with queries and comments in a timely and efficient manner. As part of this policy OPW provides information in an accessible manner an user friendly manner on matter relating to flood issues. Examples of these are our websites www.flooding .ie and www.floodmaps.ie and our printed Guide to applying for consent under Section 50 of The Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, entitled "Contruction, Replacement, Alteration of Bridges and Culverts".
