Chairman's Office
The Chairman has the support of two staff members who provide all the administrative support to the Chairman.
Other areas of responsibility include:
- Liase with staff to provide information for Chairman and Board Members on the day to day matters of the Office;
- Liase with Minister's Office and Press Office;
- Co-ordinate responses to Parliamentary Questions with Minister's Office;
- Co-ordinate material for Management Advisory Committee and Board Meetings;
- Co-ordination of Government Memoranda;
- Management of meeting rooms and OPW internal transport;
- Oversee the publication of a book on the "History of OPW".
The Chairman's Private Secretary is also the secretary to the following Committees:
- Accommodation Committee;
- Internal Audit Committee;
- Barretstown Trustees;
- Department of Finance & Personnel (NI) and OPW Liaison Committee;
- OPW Sports Committee.
